WGI Wins 2018 DBIA National Award for Main Street Bridge Historical Renovation Emergency Design-Build
Restoring this historic bridge to accommodate modern traffic, retain its appearance and without disturbing surrounding (also) historic buildings and modern utilities was a challenge. Discoveries such as a void resulting from a leaking pipe (which had to be repaired) and contaminated soil required innovation by the design-build team.
