DALE L. DOWDEN, PE, LEED AP JOINS WGI IN TAMPA OFFICE
Lee is a civil engineer who comes to WGI with over 30 years of design experience, including 26 years of project management in various phases of transportation design throughout Florida, encompassing federal, state, and county projects. The previous years of his career were spent at national consulting firms based in Tampa.
Lee’s project management expertise includes client and subconsultant communication and coordination, budget negotiation and control, quality control and quality assurance procedures, construction assistance, and shop drawing review. He also handles the preparation of project proposals, man-hour estimates, fee negotiations, and scope-of-work content.

Lee Dowden is a registered PE who holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Florida. He is LEED registered and an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Society of Highway Engineers.
