Collecting, processing, managing, and analyzing geospatial data has never been more important. WGI has expanded our services to include virtually every geospatial technology for countless applications.
Projects often require detailed measuring and mapping of underwater features, a geospatial service that WGI has wholeheartedly embraced. Our manned and unmanned vessels feature the latest hydrographic surveying equipment to rapidly and accurately provide underwater environment details that may affect navigation or construction.
Most WGI staff holds NSPS-THSOA hydrographer certification. They utilize multi-beam sonar, single- and dual-frequency echo sounders, and side-scan sonar to create images of the sea floor, coastline, and physical features such as obstructions, cables, and pilings. With the constantly shifting environment below the water’s surface, it is essential that this information is accurate and up to date.
