Collecting, processing, managing, and analyzing geospatial data has never been more important. WGI has expanded our services to include virtually every geospatial technology for countless applications.
LiDAR allows WGI to collect millions of real-time 3D data points to complete an accurate, high-quality model of the physical environment. Depending on the situation, we may use aerial, mobile, or terrestrial LiDAR to determine the precise geospatial location of objects and their features, in order to create point clouds and then surveys for various uses.
We rely on aerial LiDAR to map vast areas of the earth from GPS-monitored aircraft. Mobile LiDAR provides street-view imagery by collecting data at highway speeds, and terrestrial LiDAR is used for gathering even higher resolutions. WGI also processes the resulting data and delivers solutions in the required digital formats.
