Michigan State University is the ninth-largest in the United States, with a sprawling campus comprised of 556 buildings that feature both gothic and modern architecture, interspersed with shade trees and winding roads. The north end of campus dates to a time when automobile transportation was neither anticipated or planned, but decades of growth required additional parking to accommodate its students and faculty. We provided initial planning and feasibility, functional design, and structural engineering services for a parking facility that drew international attention for its aesthetic appeal and ability to blend into the surrounding historic architecture.
