WATERWAY PARK BOAT RAMP FACILITY – WETLAND PERMITTING AND LISTED SPECIES SURVEY
Palm Beach County, FL
Waterway Park boat ramp is situated on a 30-acre parcel with sensitive environmental areas including mangrove wetland, upland habitat, gopher tortoise habitat, and submerged resources below the mean high water line. In addition, the south end of the property included mangrove restoration. Extensive environmental services were performed for the project, including a wetland jurisdictional determination, seagrass and submerged resources survey, gopher tortoise survey, and a Global Positioning System tree inventory. Upon completion of the environmental surveys, comprehensive environmental permitting entitlement was achieved for project approval and development, which involved environmental mitigation and monitoring.
