PUBLIC ART PIECE REVEALED
‘Emerging Mangrove’ created by local Palm Beach Gardens artist
The client commissioned ACG to develop the concept of an “emerging mangrove” to blend with the native vegetation common to the shorelines along the Intracoastal Waterway. The art piece simulates the scenic waterway view which was blocked by the proposed buildings and site wall, and enhances what would otherwise be a straight, commercial-looking barrier wall blocking the view of the Intracoastal.
