R. MARK PITCHFORD, PSM JOINS WGI IN ITS TAMPA OFFICE
WGI is pleased to announce that R. Mark Pitchford joined the firm’s Geospatial Services Division as operations manager in its Tampa office. He has over 30 years of experience with specific expertise managing teams providing geospatial, survey and mapping, and utility engineering services across the United States. Mark develops and delivers innovative geospatial solutions to clients by utilizing a variety of sensor platforms – in the air using drones, in linear corridors using automobiles, underwater using remotely controlled watercraft, and underground utilizing advanced 3D imaging equipment.
Moving forward, Mark will apply his decades of knowledge to working collaboratively with WGI’s Geospatial Services Division – also taking on the responsibility of developing new business, following the vision outlined in the 2019 business plan.

Mark is a Professional Surveyor and Mapper in Florida, Alabama, and Ohio, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Survey and Mapping from the University of Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Engineering Society, American Society of Civil Engineers, Florida Surveying and Mapping Society, and Utility Engineering and Surveying Institute.
