(West Palm Beach, FL – August 2009) Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI) is pleased to announce their selection by Florida’s Department of Transportation (FDOT) – District 1 to provide professional services for the design of improvements to the I-75 interchange at SR 951 (Collier Boulevard) in Collier County. Improvements will add capacity to the existing ramps and alleviate traffic congestion.
The interchange improvements will follow closely behind Collier County’s widening of Collier Boulevard through the interchange limits. Widening of Collier Boulevard, from Davis Boulevard to Golden Gate Main Canal, is scheduled to begin Spring 2010. The combination of improvements by the County and by the FDOT will provide a much-needed increase in traffic capacity to serve the growing travel demand for the interchange.
