WGI announced it was selected by Florida’s Department of Transportation (District 4) to provide professional engineering services for the $32 million Design-Build SR 710 Big John Monahan Bridge Replacement in Martin County, Florida

(West Palm Beach, FL – June 2011) Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI) is pleased to announce they were selected by Florida’s Department of Transportation (District 4) to provide professional engineering services for the $32 million Design-Build SR 710 Big John Monahan Bridge Replacement in Martin County, Florida. WGI teamed with Cone & Graham to submit the successful proposal for this job. The project will increase capacity and improve safety by upgrading a two mile section of State Road 710, including replacement of the 700-foot Big John Monahan Bridge over the St. Lucie Canal. SR 710 through Martin County is a section of a Strategic Intermodal System (SIS) Highway and a designated hurricane evacuation route. The project limits are from SW Trail Drive to east of the SR 76 connector ramps.
