WGI is proud to announce that its employees generously donated their time and home-building skills to take part in the construction of several homes in Jupiter slated for new Habitat for Humanity families

(West Palm Beach, FL – May 2010) Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI) is proud to announce that its employees generously donated their time and home-building skills to take part in the construction of several homes in Jupiter slated for new Habitat for Humanity families. Working side by side with the future owners of these homes, 18 WGI employees did their part to ensure the homes are completed on time for these deserving families.

“Our communities need us now more than ever,” said WGI President, David Wantman. “Participating in the homebuilding process with Habitat allows WGI the opportunity to make a small difference in providing safe, affordable shelter to those hard working families in need.”

Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County, an affiliate of Habitat for Humanity International, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the elimination of sub-standard housing by building simple, safe, and affordable homes for working families. Habitat for Humanity of Palm Beach County partners with families in need to build affordable homes together. Each Habitat partner family is required to invest a minimum of 500 sweat equity hours of their own labor into the construction of homes before being eligible to purchase their home utilizing a 30-year, no-profit, no-interest loan.
