Receiving the award at the Gator100 event was WGI’s Brian LaMotte, PE, Vice President of Business Development and Marketing, a UF graduate of the College of Engineering (Environmental).
“I am very proud that WGI was selected to the Gator100” said David Wantman, PE and president, as well as a graduate of UF’s College of Engineering/Civil Engineering program with a Bachelor of Science degree. “It is further recognition that WGI has grown at a rapid pace over the last eighteen months – and we’re on the path to continue that growth trajectory.
“I can’t help but be pleased that my alma mater has bestowed this award upon us,” he added.
“The Gator100 is an important initiative that recognizes entrepreneurial excellence,” said Dr. Michael Morris, the Academic Director of the entrepreneurship program at UF. “It is open to any and all companies founded or run by Gator alumni, and recognizes those who are achieving growth, innovating, and making a difference in their communities.”
