WANTMAN GROUP, INC. WINS ZWEIG WHITE ‘2014 BEST FIRMS TO WORK FOR’ AND RANKS #41 ON THE ‘2014 HOT FIRM LIST’

July 2014

Wantman Group, Inc. (WGI), is proud to announce it was selected as one of Zweig White’s “2014 Best Firms to Work For.” This award recognizes the top architecture, structural engineering, civil engineering, environmental, and multidiscipline firms in the U.S. and Canada based on workplace practices, employee benefits, employee retention rates, and more.
“We are extremely pleased to win this award for the first time,” said David Wantman, PE, and president of WGI. “It holds a special significance, as it means that our own associates and managers have evaluated our workplace as somewhere they feel they can grow in their careers, be successful, gain recognition, and be treated well. It’s how my father started this business in 1972, and it’s how we still run it today. Our people are our most valuable asset.”

Every associate from all six of WGI’s offices in West Palm Beach, Orlando, Port St. Lucie, Tampa, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee, was invited to complete the anonymous survey. The company will ultimately be provided the results so that it can improve any internal processes and procedures suggested by its personnel.

WGI also announced that the organization was named to the Zweig White’s “2014hotfirm-logo432.jpgHot Firm List.” WGI ranked 41st on the list of the top 100 fastest-growing architecture, engineering and environmental consulting firms in the U.S. and Canada. This annual list features the firms that have outperformed the economy and competitors to become industry leaders. “We are very proud to be part of Zweig White’s Hot Firm list,” continued Wantman. “Every one of our associates shares credit for this award because WGI’s growth has been a result of their hard work and extraordinary efforts.”

As a multi-disciplinary consulting firm, WGI is comprised of eight separate divisions devoted to the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Municipal Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Surveying and Mapping, Subsurface Utility Engineering, Construction, Environmental, and Planning services. In addition to the recognition from Zweig White, The South Florida Business Journal recently ranked WGI number 6 on the “Top 25 Engineering Firms in South Florida” list.
