In accordance with WGI’s 2018 Strategic Plan, and the goals of our Parking Solutions Division, WGI underwent a thorough internal and external search for the most qualified and capable professionals to whom we will transfer the division’s leadership. A team from WGI corporate and parking interviewed multiple applicants and developed a short list of internal and external candidates.

Following this robust process, we are excited to announce that both key positions in the Parking Solutions leadership team are internal promotions.

Raymond Smith, WGI

Raymond Smith

Jacob Gonzalez, PE is promoted to VP, Parking Solutions. Jacob has 20 years’ experience as a parking consultant, project manager, and team leader, joining WGI just over a year ago. Jacob brings great strength in leadership, business development, project management, and parking consulting, and will steer the parking team to achieve our strategic and business development plans for growth, hit our financial goals, and further integrate Parking Solution’s services throughout WGI.

Raymond Smith, PE is promoted to VP, Parking Solutions Operations. Ray’s 33 years as a structural engineer, 21 years specializing in parking, and his 17 years leading our Indianapolis office and production center, make him the best choice to direct our parking planning, design, and restoration departments, as well as our training, production, and QA/QC processes.
