WGI ASSOCIATES RECEIVE THEIR PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER LICENSES
WGI is pleased to announce that two of its associates recently earned their Professional Engineer (PE) licenses, a testament to the widespread passion for continued growth amongst WGI’s outstanding associates.
David Gerber works as a Project Engineer in the firm’s West Palm Beach Transportation Division. He has over four years of experience with specific expertise in roadway design for limited access and urban facilities. David is a registered PE and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Florida International University. He is an active member of the Florida Engineering Society.
Project Engineer George Knox works in WGI’s Orlando Roadway Division. He has over four years of experience with specific expertise in pavement design, pedestrian safety modifications, and plans production. George is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from University of Central Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Engineering Society, National Society of Professional Engineers, and Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society.
To become licensed, engineers must complete a four-year college degree, work under a Professional Engineer for at least four years, pass two intensive competency exams, and earn a license from their state’s licensure board.
