WGI is pleased to announce that three new associates have joined the team:

Laura Collazos, WGILaura Collazos joined the firm’s Landscape Architecture Division as a landscape designer in its Fort Lauderdale office. She has experience in high-end residential and commercial landscape design. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture with a minor in Sustainability Studies from the University of Florida and is an active member of the American Society of Landscape Architects.

Raymond Valido, WGIRaymond Valido, PE joined the firm’s Roadway Division as a project manager in its Miami office. Raymond has over six years of experience with expertise in project management, roadway design, traffic control, 3D design, plans production, technical writing, and public speaking, having worked previously for the Florida Department of Transportation – Roadway Design Group. Raymond is a registered Professional Engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in Engineering Management, both from Florida International University. He is also an adjunct instructor, teaching engineering drawing, at Florida International University.

Silvia Fernandez, WGISilvia M. Fernandez, PE joined the firm’s Roadway Division as a project manager in its Miami office. Silvia comes to WGI with over 27 years of progressively responsible and diversified engineering experience in the management, design, and oversight of transportation and infrastructure projects. She is a registered Florida Professional Engineer and holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Florida International University. She is an active member of the SAVE International Organization.
