The 1801 East 6th Street office project comprises of 135,000 square feet of Class A and creative office space in the Saltillo TOD of East Austin. The project is five stories tall and participated in a fee in lieu of added density per the Saltillo TOD regulating plan at the City Council. The project satisfies local water quality requirements through a combination rain garden and cistern design coordinated by WGI and the project MEP to connect to pumped roof drains in the building.
1801 East 6th Street office participated in a Capital Improvement Project through a Community Facilities Agreement with the City of Austin to upsize and construct nearly 1,000 linear feet of new waterline in East 6th Street in conjunction with the Arrive Hotel (another WGI project) and the Suerte restaurant. This project involved two separate private engineers, the City of Austin engineering team and the City of Austin bidding and procurement offices.
