The Seminole Tribe of Florida awarded WGI a three-year General Engineering Services contract, supporting the Tribe’s Capital Improvement Plan which includes $320M of infrastructure improvements over the next five years. The contract encompasses a variety of services provided by WGI including engineering, environmental, planning, landscape architecture, transportation, architecture, and geospatial services.
WGI’s first work authorization was the design, permitting, and construction of the Betty Mae Jumper Medical Complex. Located on 4.4 acres of land, the 40,000-square foot building will serve as the primary medical treatment facility for the Tribe’s Hollywood Reservation, and also as an essential services building in the event of emergency.
The complex includes an emergency generator, 180 parking spaces, drive thru pharmacy, truck loading area, trash collection enclosure, and two large wet retention ponds.
