As a consultant for B&D Holdings, WGI provided civil engineering and planning services for a due diligence report. The report determined the feasibility of developing an existing Conceptual Site Plan (CSP) on a complex site of approximately 120 acres in Nashville, Tennessee. The site was designed as an agrihood, which is a residential development with an agricultural component. The agrihood was conceptually approved for 384 lots and a total of 414 units. WGI tackled challenges during the CSP process while dealing with a floodway on the west side of the site, a railroad, and two 150’ Tennessee Valley Authority easements that exist on the site. The project required WGI to research the opportunities and constraints of the proposed project and advise the client on the feasibility of developing within the City of Nashville. This required extensive coordination between the planning, civil, and Nashville staff in a short time frame.
