Canopy Walk is a 33-foot-tall open-air elevated pedestrian walkway crossing over Red River Street and Waller Creek in Austin, connecting the Fairmont Austin hotel to the Austin Convention Center.

Designed by Thomas Phifer and Partners for Manchester Financial Group, Canopy Walk is a special project because it is the first public bridge permitted by the City of Austin in 30 years. The bridge is the first collaborative design effort along Waller Creek between a private developer and the Waller Creek Conservancy.

Services provided by WGI include due diligence, civil engineering design, regulatory permitting, zoning support, utility coordination and drainage design, and construction administration.
