Project Details

The JW Clay Boulevard Deck is part of Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) Northeast Corridor Light Rail project and the overall LYNX Blue Line Extension, which adds 9.3 miles of light track from Center City to the University of North Carolina Charlotte campus.

Project Highlights:

• Retail/active-use space at grade level
• Wayfinding signage system
• The design incorporates perforated metal panels with various opening densities to provide a rhythmic break from the repeating structure they sit within
