Part of the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS) LYNX Blue Line Extension, the University City Boulevard Parking Garage conveniently sits along North Tryon Street, just south of University City Boulevard, in close proximity to the campus. The six-story facility accommodates 1,530 parking spaces and features 13,000 square feet of street-level retail along North Tryon.

The building’s design focuses on the pedestrian experience, while providing efficient parking configuration and an effective wayfinding signage system. The structural system is a precast structure accented by brick and glass featuring light-filled curtain walls on the stair towers. In addition, the light-rail alignment is reflected on top of perforated metal panels, then rotated and mirrored, providing a playful relief from the repeating structure they sit within.
