LYNX Rapid Transit Services comprises a 10-mile light-rail line serviced by the Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS). CATS retained WGI to design the 1,000-space parking structure at the Pineville station, conveniently located close to Interstate 485. The structure serves as a multi-modal bus and rail car hub. Additionally, the parking structure also offers a unique design feature not seen very often: an athletic field is located on the top level.
