The City of Covington underwent a comprehensive downtown parking analysis by WGI. The project focused on the downtown Central Business District as well as the Mainstrasse dining and entertainment district. The study included a supply and demand analysis, a parking impact analysis of three proposed development projects, an analysis of existing technology and potential operational improvements, and an online stakeholder survey. Final recommendations included enhancements to the parking regulation program and upgrades to parking technology including pay-by-mobile options.
