The City of South Bay, Florida, has been granted $2,080,000 through the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity Repair Grant Program, which is supported by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant – Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) program. All requested and rendered professional services, are compensated by CDBG-DR program funds. In 2023, WGI was awarded a Professional Consulting Services contract by the City of South Bay. WGI’s responsibilities encompass a range of services vital to the city’s recovery efforts, including Planning & Public Engagement, Critical Facility Demolition, Brownfields/Environmental Activities & Site Clean Up, Building Site Prep and Mitigation, as well as Project Management & Grant Administration.
