Project Details

A three-story addition over the top of the existing Clive Bar in the Rainey Street District creates a whimsical treehouse-like effect. Various elevated decks, mezzanines, and wood-framed enclosures are supported on steel columns and concrete and CMU walls. These new structures were threaded into tight spaces in close proximity to the existing buildings and property line in this tight urban site. Almost all structure is left architecturally exposed for enhanced visual interest.
