Each property has a different customer base with its own needs, and the necessity for controlling access, as well as the opportunity for generating revenue from parking varies by location. Additionally, each site has particular constraints, including easements, standing agreements with adjacent property owners, service access, and site geometry that require a unique solution for each facility.

• Charlotte, North Carolina and Miami, Florida – Concord’s airport hotels have the ability to capture revenue for off-site airport parking. To facilitate this, WGI identified new access and revenue control equipment with anticipated cost, location, and configuration.

• Savannah, Georgia – Two adjacent Concord hotels share both surface parking and a parking structure. At this location, the operators were concerned that nearby hotels used Concord’s property as overflow parking. To mitigate this, WGI recommended gated access for most of the site, with access consideration for conference center guests, short term parking, and neighboring tenants that share the parking areas.

• Phoenix, Arizona – Concord’s multiple properties in metro Phoenix, Arizona range from urban core to suburban residential. At the urban locations, WGI recommended access control to discourage unauthorized parking and preserve guest parking. At the suburban location, where the hotel shares parking with a restaurant, WGI’s solution included improved signage and diligent parking enforcement.
