The 574-space Cornerstone Garage was developed as an integral component of a comprehensive downtown redevelopment project. The Cornerstone Building, which includes offices and commercial space, was the centerpiece of this urban revitalization project. An elevated pedestrian bridge connects the parking structure to the Cornerstone Building. The parking structure includes State of Ohio administrative offices on the ground level, as well as a café located on the first floor.

The façade complements the surrounding architecture and is the object of civic pride. The most notable design feature on the façade is the use of a specialized painting technique called “trompe l’oeil” (a French word meaning “to trick the eye”), which uses special paint that chemically bonds with the concrete to create life-like murals with 3-D photographic detail.
