WGI completed civil engineering, landscape architecture, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) engineering services for the Eagle Pass Fire Station No. 2 Project at 2420 Second Street in Eagle Pass, Texas. The project included demolition of the existing building and construction of a new 10,000-square-foot fire station on a redeveloped ±0.39-acre site, improving emergency response capabilities for the growing community. The facility features four apparatus bays with pull-through access, kitchen, dining and living areas, dormitories, offices, an exercise room, laundry rooms, administrative spaces, and supporting infrastructure. WGI’s services included site planning, utility coordination, grading and drainage design, erosion control, infrastructure design, permitting support, construction documentation, technical specifications, cost estimating, landscape and irrigation design, and construction administration. Site improvements included a concrete-paved apparatus drive, parking, driveways, a fire lane, service area, and utility upgrades. WGI was proud to support the successful delivery of a resilient, highly functional fire station that strengthens emergency response capabilities and serves the City of Eagle Pass Fire Department and surrounding community.
