WGI performed a one-day review of the facility to assess the structural system’s general condition and waterproofing components. This maintenance review focused on identifying deterioration and damage to the concrete structure and waterproofing systems. Based on this review, we offered recommendations for maintenance, repair, and protection that were conceptually most appropriate to maintain the facility’s integrity. We also provided a preliminary assessment of the costs to perform this work. WGI performed the following scope of services for this review: 

• Reviewed existing documentation, including original design drawing specifications, previous repair documents, reports, etc. if available. 
• Provided a visual review of representative areas of the structure to project quantities and locations of items of deterioration such as cracking, scaling, and spalling of concrete structural elements. 
• Performed a chain drag (soundings) of the top of the supported parking slabs in representative areas (i.e., tops of crossovers) to evaluate the concrete topping condition. 
• Prepared a written letter report that explained the structure’s general conditions, outlined the observed areas of deterioration, and described recommended maintenance, repair, and protection methods. WGI also reviewed preliminary construction costs associated with the recommendations.
