Fresno Yosemite International Airport

Fresno Yosemite International Airport is a joint civil-military public airport located in Fresno County. 

WGI was engaged to perform a brief operational assessment of the airport parking facilities that were under lease to a private operator. Subsequent to the operational review, the airport asked WGI to examine the existing lease agreement and develop new contract language that would change its form from a lease agreement to a management agreement. WGI also assisted the airport in soliciting and evaluating proposals from parking operators for the new management agreement. 

Project Highlights: 

• Examine the overall configuration, layout, and traffic circulation in the parking facilities
• Evaluate existing signage and the row-identification scheme within the short-term and long-term parking lots 
• Evaluate the parking wayfinding and signage system on the airport’s roadway system 
• Examine the perimeter integrity of the parking facilities 
• Evaluate the revenue-control system, determining its efficacy for the location, providing good control through data and sufficient features, and accounting and reporting 
• Review the existing operating agreement
