WGI provided structural engineering and functional design services for this 513-space parking structure on the Dunwoody Campus of Georgia Perimeter College.
The parking structure provides much-needed student parking for the busy metro-Atlanta commuter college. The design was developed with student and faculty input, as well as consideration of the proximity of the adjacent residential neighbors. It was designed and constructed using a design/build project delivery system.
The parking structure was awarded the Outstanding Achievement award in the Parking Decks Category by the Georgia Chapter of the American Concrete Institute.
• Cast-in-place, field-topped precast structure
• Three-bay structure with two exterior flat bays and a ramped center bay
• Thin set brick inlaid precast façade
• 9’-wide parking spaces
