Hart Components

Client:
Hart Components
Market:
Industrial, Manufacturing
Location:
Taylor, Texas

Project Details

Hart Components is a Texas-based supplier of residential and commercial building materials. Established as J.P. Hart Lumber over 75 years ago, the company built a new facility in Taylor, Texas to better serve their customers across the region.

The project consists of a new 43,300 square-foot warehouse and office building and a 80,000 square-foot assembly building situated on a 28-acre site. The site also includes surface parking lots, laydown and storage yards, and drainage improvements. In addition, a railroad stop off and connection to the adjacent main railroad line was originally designed as part of the project, but was not constructed due to cost concerns.

WGI provided civil engineering and site development permitting services for the project, which was completed in 2019. WGI’s civil service provided on the project included site planning, site utilities, site drainage, submitting applications, permitting, and construction administration.
