Just three blocks south of downtown Milwaukee, the Historic Third Ward is known as “Milwaukee’s Arts and Fashion District” and offers a variety of restaurants, theaters, galleries and unique shopping, all in a historic warehouse setting.
Serving the needs of the revitalized Historic Third Ward, this 427-space parking structure provides public and private parking, and street-level retail space. Architectural compatibility with the surrounding community was essential to public acceptance.
Project Highlights:
• Two-bay single-helix configuration with two-way traffic flow
• Two glass-enclosed stair towers and one glass-backed elevator
• Cast-in-place post-tensioned concrete long-span construction
• Precast façade panels with inlaid brick
