The multi-purpose Transit Terminal, located on 5th Avenue and 7th Street in downtown Lethbridge, provides customers with safe, comfortable access to City transit services. The ground floor of the 6-level building incorporates a covered bus bay and waiting area, retail, public restrooms, and ticket offices. Level 2 accommodates leasable shell office space. The upper floors accommodate 308 parking spaces, accessed by an express ramp from grade to Level 3. A waterproofing membrane system with a wearing slab provides protection over the occupied space. The facility also houses regional transit partners Red Arrow and Highway 3 Connector, offering express bus service from Edmonton, Calgary, and Medicine Hat. WGI provided parking and durability design and consulting services for the parking areas and bus terminal.
