Loop Road/PGA Boulevard Intersection Improvements

Project Details

The Loop Road and PGA Boulevard Intersection project consisted of designing triple left-turn lanes to facilitate traffic volumes after completing the interchange with Alternate A1A and PGA Boulevard. An innovative analysis of traffic allowed WGI to successfully implement the use of a shared right/left turn lane. This approach salvaged the existing mast arms, retaining walls, and drainage facilities. The cost savings realized with this unique approach exceeded $5 million. Construction plans were permitted through the Florida Department of Transportation, District 4.

Project Cost $170,000.00
