WGI was retained by the Parking Authority of River City (PARC) during the design of the Louisville “Yum!” Center parking structure to assist with criteria development and review the design progress submittals.
The 700 space underground parking structure was built as part of the Louisville Arena project. WGI represented PARC’s interests on this project, providing review, oversight, and construction administration assistance.
As the owner of the parking component of this development and responsible for long-term maintenance and operations, PARC wanted WGI to confirm that the parking structure design considered function, operations, and performance with respect to maintenance, future repairs, and service life. WGI also reviewed the progress and quality of construction and confirmed that the structure was constructed in conformance with the final design drawings.
