Project Details

Just outside the uptown core of Charlotte, this multi-level 1,039-space parking structure brings a much needed mix of office, retail, residential housing and dining to the area. Part of a planned urban community, the parking structure and the surrounding development was created to improve an area facing urban decline. Situated on the site of an abandoned mall, this project transformed a former “sea of parking” into a vibrant community.

Project Highlights:

• Four-bay, single helix with park-on ramp and two-way traffic flow
• The 408,100-square-foot structure is composed of architectural precast concrete panels to complement a companion project across the street
