The 402-space Millennium Garage in downtown Canton was developed to support a new building for the Canton Regional Chamber of Commerce, as well as a significant historic renovation project that was undertaken by a local law firm. A pedestrian bridge connects to the law offices and chamber building. A drive-up ATM is located at grade level.
One of the most notable design features of this garage is the use of a specialized painting technique on the entire façade of the structure. This technique, called “trompe l’oeil,” (a French word meaning to deceive the eye) uses special paint that chemically bonds with the concrete to create life-like murals with three-dimensional photographic detail.
