Bethlehem is located in eastern Pennsylvania. Visitors, shoppers, commuters and residents of the North Side Central Business District may park in several city-owned surface lots and parking garages, including the North Street Parking Garage.
In addition to its capacity for 800 vehicles, the North Street Parking Garage houses the Bethlehem Parking Authority in a 6,300-square-foot office on the first level and a 2,000-square-foot intermodal bus terminal at street level. The precast façade utilizes the same thin brick as an adjacent retail and office complex that it’s connected to via a pedestrian bridge. The architecture of the garage enhances the overall area of the central business district.
This project received an Award of Excellence for Innovation & Design from the Pennsylvania Parking Association.
