WGI assisted the City of Lake Worth Beach with data collection and GIS services utilizing our LiDAR equipment to supplement an their existing database containing their utility pole locations. The purpose of the work was to obtain various pole and attachment attributes, identify attachees (to the extent possible), and provide utility records research to support these activities. WGI provided personnel and resources to inventory approximately 12,000 City of Lake Worth owned utility poles and provided certain attribute information. Deliverables included a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet detailing pole IDs and number of attachments by owner. WGI also provided a certified surveyor’s report detailing the means by which the work was completed and expected accuracies of data.
