To support a property transaction that involved dedication of 13.2 acres of land to Orange County for roadway right-of-way, WGI conducted a contamination assessment of a former orange grove. By coordinating with Orange County, and using a streamlined soil sampling approach that used composite soil samples as a screening technique, WGI reduced the project cost and expedited the project schedule. Our contamination report was approved by the County with no comments and WGI saved the client $15,000 from previous assessment costs.
