The Trenton Marriott at Lafayette Yard is located just steps away from the historic downtown and the New Jersey State Capitol Complex at the center of Trenton. The $54 million facility is connected to the War Memorial, a historic 1,900-seat amphitheater, a conference center with more than 16,000-square-feet of meeting space, a grand ballroom, a restaurant and a 646-stall parking structure.
WGI provided structural engineering, functional design and construction administration services for the two-bay, seven-level parking structure, which was built on a site adjacent to the Trenton Marriott to serve the increased parking demand due to the addition of the hotel and revitalization of the capitol complex.
