The U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) is an agency in the U.S. Department of Commerce that issues patents to inventors and businesses, and trademark registration for product and intellectual property identification.
The $500M project included over 2.5 million square-feet of office space with two cast-in-place post-tensioned parking structures accommodating nearly 3,500 vehicles.
The developer of this five-building headquarters complex retained WGI to provide consulting services, including functional design, parking layouts, and signage. A shared parking concept allowed staff and visitor parking to be nested within the two six-level structures fronted by office space.
