Project Details

University of Nebraska’s 602-space City Campus Parking Structure serves patrons of Memorial Stadium, as well as students, faculty, staff, visitors and special events attendees. In addition to the athletic ticket office, Huskers Authentic store, and the Parking & Transit Services office, a university shuttle bus lobby/waiting area is provided at grade level of the structure.

Project Highlights:

• Three-bay double-thread helix with one flat bay
• One-way traffic
• One glass-backed elevator in each of two glass-enclosed stair towers
• University observatory located on top level
• Precast/prestressed concrete framing system with cast-in-place topping
• Intricate precast spandrels support canopies around building
• Extensive brick at grade level
