Project Details

The University of Nebraska’s 602-space City Campus Parking Structure serves students, faculty, and visitors. A university shuttle bus lobby and waiting area is provided at grade level, in addition to the athletic ticket office, Cornhusker Authentic shop, and Campus Parking Services office.

Project Highlights:

• Three-bay double-thread helix with one flat bay
• One-way traffic
• One glass-backed elevator in each of two glass-enclosed stair towers
• Storefront retail area at street level for the athletic ticket office, Cornhusker Authentic shop, and Campus Parking Services office; university observatory located on top level
• Precast/prestressed concrete framing system with cast-in-place topping
• Intricate precast spandrels support canopies around building
• Extensive brick at grade level
