Project Details

The University of Nevada Reno’s 1,860-space West Stadium Parking Complex provides event parking for Mackey Stadium, Lawlor Events Center and Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center. Mackey Stadium is a 29,993-seat outdoor athletic stadium, whereas Lawlor Events Center is an 11,784-seat multipurpose arena. Within the Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center is a 60-seat domed theater, science store, classroom and gallery space for changing exhibits.

Project Highlights:

• Special moment frames to resist high seismic loads
• Glass-enclosed stair and elevator towers
• No walls in the parking areas and stained-white ceilings for a safe and secure parking environment
