Project Details

WGI designed this five-level, 975-space parking structure to serve faculty members and the transient student/visitor population on the University of North Carolina-Greensboro campus.

Project Highlights:

• Three-bay wide single-helix design
• One-way traffic aisles and angled parking at the ground level
• Aluminum storefront panels allow for natural light on all levels
• Two glass-backed traction elevators at each of the two primary stair/elevator towers
• Reinforced concrete stair and stair/elevator towers with light and dark face bricks
• Peaked standing seam metal fabricated roof system encloses the top of each tower
• Two-way traffic aisles and 90-degree parking at all ramps and elevated levels
