This federal- and state-funded project included a six-level, 2,577-space parking structure, with bus traffic on the ground floor. It serves commuters and employees of Wellington Station, an MBTA station primarily serving as a park-and-ride station and bus hub with connections to several local bus routes.
It is located directly above a bus storage facility and maintenance center. The project required aesthetic design enhancements to Wellington Station to support development initiatives by the City of Medford.
WGI’s scope consisted of an alternatives/demand analysis, functional design, parking access, and revenue control system.
