Kalamazoo area medical centers, Bronson Methodist Hospital and Borgess Medical Center joined forces to develop the West Michigan Cancer Center in downtown Kalamazoo. The West Michigan Cancer Center is a regional collaboration, providing Southwest Michigan state-of-the-art medical care.
WGI provided structural engineering consulting for the three-story building, including foundation design and superstructure design. The architecture harmonizes with the surrounding historic district while presenting a noninstitutional appearance to the community and its patients.

• Interior design elements provide an enhanced healing environment
• Three linear accelerators, a remote high-dose rate after-loader, hyperthermia treatment simulator and CT simulator
• Diagnostic x-ray treatment facilities, and a pharmacy laboratory
